USS Allentown: Difference between revisions

The [[USS Allentown]] was an ''Akira''-class ship that operated in the early 2390's.  While dispatched to the Onias Sector to investigate, what [[Starfleet|Starfleet Intelligence]] believed, a minor pirate threat, the ship was disabled and captured by pirate forces of the [[Ralaaram Ocala]].  The ship was quickly retrofitted by the Romulan pirates and renamed the ''Repentance''.

The Commanding Officer of the Allentown, Lieutenant Commander Quinn Gibson, a [[Terran]] female, as well as her entire crew compliment, were killed in the battle or executed shortly thereafter.

As a result of the Allentown going missing in the Onias Sector, [[Starfleet]] dispatched the [[USS Excalibur-A]] to the scene.  Unfortunately, the Excalibur was not able to successful disband the pirate group as she was overcome with radiation from the Onias Sector and forced to retreat.
