Evan Delano (alternate)

Evan Delano is the chief engineer of the USS Ronin-A in an alternate universe where the Federation lost the Dominion War.

Background

Evan was never a very good engineer (at least by Starfleet standards), but rushed through the Academy, he didn't have a chance to reconsider his career choice. Besides, the mentor who might have helped him come to that decision was killed long before Evan ever met her.

Evan would still consider himself to be a very bad engineer, but he's actually a pretty good "miracle worker" and able to jury rig solutions to keep a battered old warship together long enough to throw a few more torpedoes.
