 Bret recently graduated high school and has applied to Starfleet Academy.
-Miles’ intention upon joining Starfleet was to enlist in the Marine Corps, and he began his training in that direction. He prepared for the physical agility portion of the Marine training, and during the qualification, Miles injured his left knee tearing ligaments around the knee. This unfortunate accident required a few months of rehabilitation that forced him to focus on a security major rather than the Marines.
+Miles had always been interested in a position onboard a starship assigned to Security. As such, he decided to major in Security with a minor in Counseling at Starfleet Academy.
