In 2375, a newly commissioned Sovereign class starship, the USS Ithaca was posted to Starbase 118. The Ithaca's purpose was to serve as a command training vessel. In this capacity, the Ithaca was used to train Sandolphan Aquiss, Leigha Jacobs, and Jasen Rendary before each would launch their own commands. Today the Ithaca's whereabouts remain classified, but she no longer serves in a training capacity.
