Her science officer as of 2396 was Lieutenant [[Tessa Singh]]. In 2396, the ''Endurance'' was monitoring a Tholian fleet that had destroyed [[Astrofori One]] the previous year. When it suddenly lost sensor contact with the Tholian ships, Jäger notified Admiral [[Joseph Washington]], and the {{USS|Veritas}} and {{USS|Solaris}} were sent to investigate.
