During academy he received some reprimands for discussions and struggles among colleagues but he manages to finish his graduation with a degree in astrophysics. Due his fast aging he finished Starfleet academy with 24 but look like a 40 years old man. However the Starfleet medical corps had guaranteed that due his mental discipline the aging rate was slower.
