Anjar Thoran: Difference between revisions

Anjar was born in the Minaria Province on Antosia on Stardate 236208.21 to parents Elian and Oriana Thoran. From a young age, he enjoyed going on adventures with his older brother Zennor and his younger sister Elora. They spent many days exploring the wilderness of their homeworld. Together with their friends, they would swim at local ponds in the summers and trek through the trees in the fall. When he reached his teenage years, Anjar discovered that he enjoyed building things. He would often perform repairs for his neighbors and others of the community. At age 22, he met the woman who would become his wife, Alia. He took on an apprenticeship to save for her dowry. They were married in a traditional Antosian ceremony and he was overjoyed when he found out he and his wife would welcome a baby into the world. However, Alia had a difficult pregnancy and died in childbirth. The baby, a little girl named Liara, survived and became the center of his world. Shortly after his wife's death, Anjar sought escape from the memories and moved to Earth to attend Starfleet Academy as an Engineering major. His sister, Elora, followed and cared for his daughter when he was in class. He graduated four years later and received his first assignment aboard the USS Peregrine.
