We’re less than a day away from Karakka, and we haven’t received any updates from the colony in the meantime - tetryon interference from the Widowmaker Trail has been intense, and we’ve had to make several course and speed changes over the last few days to avoid the worst of it. | |||
Unfortunately, while we were able to seriously damage Lenik of Vulcan’s ship before he escaped, our last reading on the Miran’s Tifar showed him on this heading. We were able to make use of the Mother Road, so I expect that we’ll arrive here significantly before him - and if this isn’t where he’s headed, he’ll fly straight into the Klingon fleet on the other side of Federation space. | |||
We’ve had some personnel changes, and the Montreal is in serious need of maintenance at a drydock. If Lenik’s ship hadn’t been so seriously damaged in our attack on him, I would be concerned about our changes in combat. Instead, I worry more that we’ve backed a wounded animal into a corner, and that there’s no telling what he might try. | |||
