:During the Iconian Gateway crisis of 2390, Fleet Captain Riley granted Evan a field promotion to Lieutenant (JG) and a new assignment as the chief of security. Evan was injured during an away mission and, upon his return to the Tiger, was forced to take medical leave for several weeks.
