Aliza was born on Rekar III to V'Kareen and Toren. The small family was happy as Liz grew to the age of 6. Though with shifting situations in regards to V'Kareen's connections with the Romulan Empire, the small family left, aiming to head to Mars to take up a job that V'Kareen had been offered. Liz had no clue about what her parents were leaving or choosing to leave or why. She just left with them.
During transit, the transport ship they were on was attached by a group of raiders which left several individuals injured or deceased. Eventually Liz's parents joined the later list while she had been left in a jefferies tube during the attack. After the ship resumed course, Liz was left with her families items and memories. After arrival at Mars, Liz met with the woman that had hired her mother. Having no one else Heather Morris, the woman who had hired her mother, took in the little girl. At first it was only going to be for a little bit. As time went on and Heather became close with the young Liz, the two bonded and Heather decided to formally adopt the little girl.
Years past as Liz grew up in the Mars colony, excitedly joining in the school present in the area that Heather and her lived. She excelled in the sciences and mathematics, though she never had a want to join starfleet. Eventually as she grew, the love for animals pushed her to go volunteer at a veterinary program nearby, trying to help there.
Aliza grew to be a happy young woman in the colony, eventually deciding to attend a veterinary program on Earth. Leaving her adoptive mother with promise to visit after she got accepted into the Iowa State University Biology program in pre-veterinarian medicine. After that program was complete, she shifted to the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Once complete, Liz worked at a veterinary program for five additional years, working to better her craft and care of animals. Eventually that want to adventure and be somewhere new tugged at her. So she applied to various veterinarian programs away from both Terra and Mars. One of which she applied for was on the USS Astraeus, as a pet care specialist that could work on grooming or veterinarian work. It was time to start a new chapter and happily accepted the job on the Astraeus.
