Joe Flood is the son of JM and Lucy, a pair of traveling entertainers and the former owners of the ''Ineffable''. When his parents decided to stay with the rest of their troupe planetside, they offered the ship to Joe and his sister Tess. Tess declined; she was a planetbound poet, and didn't much like the idea of gallivanting between waystations. Joe, on the other hand, accepted quickly and began to roam the quadrant, specializing in the transport of odd commodities and even odder folks. | |||
