He very easily can tell people to seek out professional help so they're not bottling emotions, but in recent months he has found anxiety in following his own advice because he doesn't want anything to be wrong with him, and he doesn't want people to think so. It's a process. He's also low-key insecure about being an Aurelian. He's surrounded by humanoids, and he's even seen more insectoids than avians. So he feels out of place. It's just that he would struggle to admit that he has unsettling dreams where he's no longer an Aurelian.
 ** To do what he can to continue to deserve his Lieutenant promotion, and any promotion he may get in the future. Also to do his best at his job as Head of Infrastructure Development, work on his leadership skills. He'd like to feel like he's contributing as much as he can, helping people in whatever way he's able, and doing what he can to make any place he ends up better than he found it.
 **His other goal is one that came with the move to Denali Station. A goal of self-acceptance and a release of insecurities that he picked up over his years in Starfleet. He knows he can't go back to exactly who he was before the academy, and he can't go back to exactly who he was before the assimilation. He will always have quirks and possibly neuroses that align with those experiences now. But he wants to reintegrate things he thought he had to hold back. Weird Aurelian traits he enjoyed about himself before he started feeling like others were uncomfortable with them. Before he started feeling that if he didn't wear his closest approximation of a humanoid mask people would not want to be around him. And he wants to do that while accepting that he doesn't need to go back to anything that no longer serves him, even if that means Aurelians will also find him a little odd. He wants to truly love himself again. Weirdness and all. Which would perhaps put him in his most Aurelian state as there's nothing more Aurelian than love.
