About a week after she had told him that the relationship was to end - while he still persistered Bec saw him leaving her favorite hideout, then outside, dead, nearly several seconds later.

==Backstory/Timeline==

Rebecca grew up on earth in a small town, as the youngest of 4 with three older human-hybrid stepbrothers. During her childhood, she often faced teasing and judgement. She hated being half Klingon, as her control and her inside battle continued.

She applied for Starfleet academy in 2393, only to be rejected and to reapply in 2394, taking a security post. She passed her final exam- barely. Rebecca had been quite pulled back from socialisation all her life, and at the academy she was no different, only speaking up for the sake of her task.

One of the things Rebecca hated most about herself was her response to fear and stress. She got scared easily, gradually falling to a barely functioning state and clicking into an overly confident, taking charge state, giving orders, going off of instinct and taking many risks. This had caused her and other injuries a few times, once she had punched a classmate in the face, hard. Even though that was when she was 7, a young child, she still hasn't forgiven herself for the act. She can control this much better now, however, or at least push it down and pretend she's fine.

Rebecca is torn, torn between her Klingon side and her human side. Growing up her mother tried her best to conceal and hide away knowledge of Klingon language and culture from Rebecca, wanting her to embrace her humanity, resulting in her learning Klingonese late, and learning by torchlight, while her brothers were learning about their cultures at the same time. One of Rebecca's goals in life is to learn more about herself, and to possibly find her father- If he is still alive.
