|LOG=Another day in a hectic plague outbreak as I come to grips with the many mistakes I've made over the course of my career. Maybe the great plan for me is not to be a medical officer forever, much less be chief. I don't handle crises well. The captain saw me freeze. I am haunted by my mistakes both past and present. Go pick on someone else, Murphy.}} | |LOG=Another day in a hectic plague outbreak as I come to grips with the many mistakes I've made over the course of my career. |LOG=Saying that the last few days have been stressful and complicated would be an understatement. I’m still having a hard time processing the choices I had to make against the Klingon pirates and now dealing with the aftermath of the recent situation with Lenik of Vulcan. I knew that command wasn’t for the faint of heart and that those in these positions were often forced to make difficult choices in the heat of battle, but I realize now that I had no concept of the burden they carry on their shoulders. I have a whole new respect for commanding officers like Captain Rahman and Commander Mei’konda. | |||
I have the feeling one counseling session a week isn’t going to cut it. Hopefully Dr. Cattan has enough openings in her calendar.}} | |||
