Ceilidh is the only surviving child of the third set of triplets to be born to her parents on Kerelia, a planet where one set is the norm. From a young age, her imagination was always turned on, and she spun the most interesting stories, that was until it was finally discovered that Ceilidh was empathic: a level 5, very rare on her world. Like her parents, Ceilidh wanted a life where she could explore other worlds and cultures, and Starfleet seemed like the best fit.
