Rapture
* Following contact with an ancient Bajoran artifact, Saveron became possessed by an ancient Pah Wraith previously trapped within the object. Whilst on a routine tour aboard the USS Thunder - the support ship assigned to the Embassy - under then Lieutenant Commander Tallis Rhul, Saveron, under the Pah Wraith's influence, forcibly mind-melded with Lt. Isaac Green and enforced a form of mind-control on him. Between them they took control of the Thunder, doing significant damage to the ship and killing several crewmembers in their efforts to reach Deep Space Nine. The situation ended in a confrontation between Saveron and Lt. Anora Manar, who had been possessed by a Prophet, doing battle in the hanger of the Captain's Yacht. Intervention by the Engineering team forced both beings from their hosts, but Saveron was left with the impact of what he had done, and the failure of his mental discipline to keep his invader out.

The USS Thunder - the support ship assigned to the Embassy - was on a routine patrol of the Sandbar under then Lieutenant Commander Tallis Rhul when Saveron began acting strangely. It later became apparent that, through contact with some Bajoran relics, the good doctor had been possessed by a Pah Wraith. Forcibly mind-melding with Lt. Isaac Green in an act of mental rape to force his compliance, Saveron used their combined clearances to take over the ship, nearly succeeding in taking it to DS9 to stage a Reckoning, before the ship's crew fought back. Control of the ship and Lt. Green were regained, but Saveron escaped and made his way to the hangar bay, where he was confronted by Lt. Anora Manar possessed by a Prophet. Their comflict threatened to destroy the Thunder, until the crew were able to cobble together a chroniton generator and banish both beings from their hosts.

Following his own internal struggle with the Pah Wraith, Saveron found his personal composure and emotional control great compromised, and it took some time to rebuild. During this time he was counselled by Counsellor Ashley Yael. It was an interesting juxtaposition because Saveron as the ship's Doctor was assisting Yael with his own health issues surrounding his enurodegenerative dissorder. The Doctor and the Counsellor built up a strong working relationship adn became particularly firm friends, perhaps partly because of the similar nature of their work and partly because of their similar personalities and preferences. Both were intelligent, pacifists, not overly social and because of species preferences avoid casual physical contact. Saveron also developed a great respect for the newly promoted Commander Tallis Rhul, who not only brought the ship intact through a nearly impossible problem, but did not place any blame on the officers involved, although Saveron blamed himself. Unfortunately the incident damanged his working relationship with Lt. Green. Even though the man laid no blame with him, the intimate and offensive nature of their prior mental contact made the two men stiffly formal with each other.
