Personal History
Father was very anti-alien. Decided Earth was becoming infested with them. Moved family to human only colony. Sam refused to go and his Father beat him badly nearly killing him. Grandfather stepped in and adopted Sam. Bringing him up on Earth. Sadly, both Grandparents died just before Sam entered Starfleet. Second youngest brother, Jason, went mad and plotted to kill Sam. He was caught on Bajor waiting for the KODIAK to arrive. He now lives in a Bajorian Mental Hospital.
Professional History
Was kicked out of the Starfleet Academy in his second year for cheating. Took the matter to court and was proven innocent. Re-joined and graduated with full honors. First ship was the USS WALLACE sadly the Captain was killed and Sam transferred to the USS Kodiak. Lost both his eyes during a Battle that saw the loss of the first ship to bare the name KODIAK. He now has a pair artificial eyes. They look almost like real ones. He was transferred to SB 118 OPS, giving up the position of First Officer of the TRIUMPHANT.
