Acute Cellular Decay is the name of a terminal condition caused by the infection of the DNA cells by mutated Chronitons. The disease breaks down all DNA pathways at a cellular level. Only one condition has been reported and subsequently 'cured', that of Lt.Commander Danny Wilde. His symptoms are subdued by the use of specially modified nanoprobes circulated into his cellular structure by a Borg Renegeration Unit implanted at the base of his neck. If the unit is removed for any reason, the spread of the condition will resume and the patient will die.
