This category is for award display templates.

Want to create your own template for awards, promotions and position changes?

Look no further!

This page will tell you how to create your very own awards display with collapsible tables.

To Create

To start the template out, replace the placeholders with your name. After this example, we will explain the options.

{{AwardDisplayTable|NAME=Aenia Kthia|COLLAPSED=n
|{{AwardTable|TITLE=Service Awards
|{{AwardHeader|328007.12|{{USS|Blenheim|X}}|Fleet Commodore Ka'reitha Aronfast}}
|{{AwardRow|Innovation Ribbon|DISP=Pomp and Circumstance, Part II|ROWSPAN=2}}
|{{AwardRow|Explorer's Ribbon|NUM=11|DISP=Explorer's Ribbon (11th Citation)}}
}}
{{PromotionsTable
|{{PromotionRow|Captain|Red|FC|328001.12|Commodore Ka'reitha Aronfast|We All Go Up One!}}
}}
{{PositionChangesTable|COLLAPSED=n
|{{PositionChangeShipHeader|{{USS|Blenheim|X}}}}
|{{PositionChange|Andromeda War Ops|Local Group War Ops|328001.12|Commodore Ka'reitha Aronfast|We All Go Up One!}}
}}
{{AwardTableGen|TITLE=General Awards|ShowRecipient=no
|{{AwardTableGenRow|Genesis Badge|327912.31|Captain Ka'reitha Aronfast|REDACTED}}
}}
}}

If you want it to be collapsed, you can leave COLLAPSED off, but if you put no or n, it will not be collapsed on the first line. This applies to AwardDisplayTable, AwardTable, AwardTableGen, PromotionsTable, PositionChangeTable.

Only on AwardTable can you specify Stardate (by adding STARDATE=y) to replace the Ceremony with Stardate. If you don't want the stardate displayed in the Service Awards, use AwardHeaderVariant, instead of AwardHeader.

Usage for AwardHeader

  • The stardate of the award goes first
  • The second variable is the name of the ship. You can use the {{USS|Shipname|Suffix}} format, or you can just put USS-Shipname-A. *For Starbase 118 Ops, the Embassy or any other installation, a link will need to be inserted in wikicode.
  • The last variable is the presenter of the award.

Usage for AwardHeaderVariant

  • The first variable is the presenter of the award.
  • The second variable is the name of the ship. You can use the {{USS|Shipname|Suffix}} format, or you can just put USS-Shipname-A. *For Starbase 118 Ops, the Embassy or any other installation, a link will need to be inserted in wikicode.

Usage for AwardRow

  • The first parameter is the name of the ribbon. Use the name from Template: Ribbons here.
  • The second parameter is the description or link.
  • Use NUM= if you have received the citation more than once. (Up to 11. If you've gotten something 12 times, you'll need to start displaying it again.)
  • USE ROWSPAN= if you received multiple citations in one sim. Only specify this on the first citation. Do not specify it on the citations after the first.

For PositionChangeShipHeader, insert the ship name these changes take place on.

Usage for Promotion Row

  • The first parameter is the new rank. Please use a rank that the Template:Pips template will recognize.
  • The second parameter is the color of pips.
  • The third parameter is the type of pips.
  • The fourth parameter is the stardate.
  • The fifth parameter is the presenter.
  • The sixth parameter is the ceremony link, or title if there is none.

The AwardTableGen is a more generalized table. It's meant to be used for General Awards, Staff Awards, Duty Post Awards, Special Awards, unlike the first three, which have specalized formats. Just copy the example code for each, when you get one.

NOTE: If you specify ShowRecipent=no or n for the AwardTableGen, please do not specify the recipent on the row.

It operates much like AwardRow, excluding it has no ROWSPAN optional. It does have a Number optional.

Example

And here's the example in code.

If you use the variant for stardate, it'll look like this.
