Hello Colombia crew members.

At dec 06-2004 I noticed there was not Columbia article made yet on the Columbia at our SB118 Wiki page. Therefore I took the liberty of setting it up for you, saves you guys some time.

I hope that's okay with you.

Kind regards,

Lt.Cmdr. Robin Phoenix Victory

Hope you don't mind me changing the roster link so that it links to the new site rather than the old site. Just been doing this for all the ships.

Arrangement

I tried to see if I could create a more amiable layout, but I think maybe there's just too much going on on this page. Too many pics and nav panels. Dunno, but give it a look and see how you feel. --Wolf 13:38, 29 January 2006 (CST)

Indeed lot's of things going on, but I think the new layout looks better. Just my personal view mind you. :)

400 years after a previous Columbia enterred Earth orbit?

I'm trying to figure out what the intention of the original writer is of this statement: "It is no coincidence that Columbia left dry dock almost exactly 400 years after her ancestor entered earth's orbit for the first time." Even if that was the Columbia that exploded, that would put the launch at 2403. However, I'm pretty sure that Columbia never made it into orbit, and we're simming in the year 2391 and this Columbia's been in service for at least a decade, so... not sure what's meant by this statement. -James T. Space shuttle Columbia entered Earth's orbit for the first time on April 12, 1981 during its first mission. Four hundred years later is 2381. USS Columbia was launched on SD 238103.25. ♫ Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman, Chief of Wiki Operations 18:03, 29 September 2014 (CDT)
