Brief Biography

Ione appeared out of thin air on Deep Space 17 during its refit in 2381. No ships have record of her transport and there aren't any logs indicating she was servicing the station.

Alone, lost and amnesic, the mysterious woman made a risk in first approaching then Commander Kare'en, thinking he was the Twilights Edge owner Danaan. He bailed her out of the clutches of security, hoping he hadn't made the wrong decision.

Ione has since made herself a harmless presence, taking a waitress job at the renown club, singing and dancing at night. She moves with the grace and precision of a dancer, yet her past and being there is yet to be explained. She appeared shortly after the Onari incident; the first official mission of the reinstated USS Wallace under Kare'en's command.

She often dreams about a man she calls Brother. The nature of these dreams and the complexity of everything else is yet a complete mystery; facts Ione doesn't know herself. In almost all cases, Brother's face isn't fully visible and the dreams take on symbolic forms and colors.

Ione has since decided to pursue her knowledge and explore who she really is. After consulting DS 17's Science department, she learned of the Igloo Cluster and felt drawn to the sixth, Class M planet. This is also known as Grendellai territory. She has little to no concept of time, science and life, thus having literally the ignorance of a child.
