Besides being the opening act of the first live concert I ever saw and it's just CHER (!!!) I picked this song because Verana is looking to experience something profound in her time with Starfleet that will change her. Perhaps it will be a person, a place, other writers and Verana's reactions to different situations will determine this. This song also talks of past shames, burdens and things holding one back in the pursuit of happiness, nothing could describe Verana better...
