In 2398, Gertrude Kettleworth resigned her position at the Rome Township Public Library after 22 years on staff, due to excessive and repeated construction noise coming from a building project across the street.  Hoping for a quiet working environment with no disruptions, Kettleworth signed on to serve as librarian of the {{USS|Resolution}} shortly after.
