|BLURB = Brother to seven siblings , Antero Flynn hails from Risa, growing with a playful personality and a motivation to do more with his life when his younger brother's ship is suspected destroyed when it goes missing whilst on a terraforming mission.
|BLURB =Born on Moselina IV, a busy trade stop located near Krios Prime, the Kriosian homeworld, Roshanara's birth parents gave her up for adoption, and a human couple took her in, named her, and raised her back on Earth in the city of Lahore. Often mistaken for a Trill due to her Kriosian spots, she joined Starfleet because of her interest in starship design and engineering, an interest that has not come without a cost as she was gravely injured early in her career from a major accident that required lengthy rehabilitation.

Having joined Starfleet Academy, Flynn has an affinity for ship tactics and maneuverability, and signed onto the fleet as a Helm Officer for the USS Colombia, and when transferred to the USS Apollo-A in 2392, he was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. The next year, he would be serving as a Helm, Communications and Operations officer at Starbase 118 and her support ship, the USS Albion.
She is a project manager for the Starfleet Corps of Engineers and a Starfleet Academy instructor. She previously served as an engineer aboard the starships Shanghai, Tempest, Pioneer, Mercury, and Garuda, and was chief engineer of the latter two vessels. She served as first officer to Fleet Captain Aron Kells aboard the Garuda and USS Invicta. Captain Rahman is currently the Commanding Officer of the USS Veritas.

{{FBCWinner|Cory Stoyer|MONTH = January 2016
|PICTURE = CoryStoyer.png
|BLURB = Born and raised in a place called Georgia in the North American region of Earth, Lieutenant Cory Stoyer began his career with Starfleet as an enlisted non-commissioned officer. Which was something that played in his favor during his time at the Academy. While the other cadets were occupied with what things would be like aboard a starship, Stoyer already knew and chose to spend his time sharing his experince with them.

After graduating the Academy, Stoyer was assigned to the USS Constituition-B where he would serve as an engineering officer for some time before being transferred to the USS Excalibur-A to serve as the HCO officer. After that he moved to the USS Victory for a stint before moving to his current role as the Chief Engineer of the USS Gorkon.

|BLURB =Lael was born two minutes before her twin brother Kellan on Stardate 236610.24 to Adelynn Rosek in Cedar Springs, Michigan. She never met her father and, due to her mother's silence, knew very little about him. From a young age, Lael showed a talent for Mathematics and her curious nature led her to a passion for taking things apart to see how they worked. Though she was bullied in her younger years due to her Al-Leyan heritage, her easy-going and compassionate nature won her many friends. As she grew older, she sought more adventurous pursuits, chief among them being sailing, cliff-diving, water skiing, rock climbing, and swimming in local ponds and lakes.

{{FBCWinner|Rustyy Hael|MONTH = December 2015
|PICTURE = RustyyHael.png
|BLURB = Tinkerer, protector, outdoorsman, all terms that could describe Lieutenant JG [[Rustyy Hael]], and engineering officer aboard the {{USS|Constitution|B}}.

Born in Grayling Alaska, Hael was the first of seven children born to a charismatic bartender and a lighthearted waitress. Growing up, Hael was always getting into scrapes standing up for his siblings and tinkering with machines until his parents decided to have him join Starfleet in order to make something of himself.

Since graduating from the Academy, Hael has seen a lot. From fighting to keep his ship in one piece during his first outing, to battling Borg nanites, to traveling back to 1914! What does the future have in store for Hael? Only time will tell!
She spent most of her adolescence dreaming of a career as a Starfleet Officer. Following her graduation from high school on Stardate 238505.25, she took the Entrance Exam and began her first day as a cadet on Stardate 238508.07 intending to follow the Command track. She did well academically and was excelling on the Command track until the holovideos and graphic descriptions of torture caused her nightmares and PTSD. She was forced to undergo counseling and drop out of the Command track. Her twin brother convinced her that she would do better in gold than red, and Lael began studying engineering, operations, physics and communications.

{{FBCWinner|Siris|MONTH = November 2015
|PICTURE = Siris.png
|BLURB = Siris may look human, but behind his youthful El-Aurian appearance is a life that has thus far spanned over two centuries. Born in 2141 on El-Auria, Siris fled the planet along with several hundred others when it was attacked in 2265. He moved from planet to planet as a refugee and was caught briefly in the Nexus before being rescued along with other El-Aurians by the USS Enterprise-B in 2293.

During the first half of the 24th century, Siris worked various odd jobs and employed his skill as a "listener" to learn more about the galaxy around him and its secrets. After a stint with Starfleet Intelligence as a civilian, he eventually chose to enter Starfleet formally to serve as an intelligence officer. Since he joined, he has risen up the ranks and moved across various duty posts, even serving briefly as acting captain of the USS Constitution-B. He later transferred into the Starfleet Marine Corps after he became ill following the Prometheus Incident. As a marine, he became a SWAT team commander on the USS Victory and USS Gorkon before reaching his current post as first officer of the USS Avandar.

{{FBCWinner|Zinna|MONTH = October 2015
|PICTURE = Zinnateal.jpg
|BLURB = Singer, scientist, counselor, doctor, murder, and pacifist are all words the could be used to describe Lieutenant Zinna of the USS Apollo-A. Born over two hundred years ago, the El-Aurian medical officer has seen and done a lot in her lifetime and that was all before joining Starfleet!

{{FBCWinner|Randal Shayne|MONTH = May 2017
|PICTURE = Shayne, Randal.png
|BLURB =Randal Shayne was born in Chicago, Illinois on Earth, however most of his childhood was spent on Starbase 912. Both his parents, Eric and Heidi Shayne, were high ranking Starfleet officers. His mother was the station’s CMO and his father would eventually become its Commanding Officer. Both of his parents made Randal and his brother, Zak, a priority and neither child was left wanting for attention. Randal decided to follow in his parents footsteps and was accepted into Starfleet Academy at age 18 as a medical cadet.

After a period of time in which she toured with the Alpha Quadrant Music Tour, Zinna reenlisted in Starfleet and served as a counselor on the USS Atlantis before being transferred to her current duty post as a medical officer aboard the USS Apollo-A.
Randal was intent on helping people the way his mother had done for her whole career. Unfortunately, the pre-med curriculum proved incomprehensible for him and he was far to squeamish around the injured and sick. After his first year he transferred to the Engineering program. During this time Randal had very few friends and focused on his studies. Randal was on track to become a decent engineer, until an instructor noted his above average reflexes and decisiveness. The instructor suggested that he would better serve a ship behind the helm. This led Randal to reluctantly enroll in the flight team. It was during this time that Randal began to make friends, felt the strong camaraderie among his fellow flight team members and came into his own as an officer. Randal was assigned to the USS Gemini right out of the academy as its helmsman and has made his career behind the helm of a variety of ships.

|BLURB = If you were to ask Maxwell Traenor to describe himself, he would say he was 'wholly unremarkable'. Not so! The Chief Science Officer aboard the USS Darwin-A is anything but unremarkable. He is a baby-grand playing, bike riding, laundry shirking, camera loving guy who is known as Gordie to his friends. And, he leaves his room in the morning without making the bed!

Starting his career aboard the USS Apollo, he transferred to the Darwin in 2392, where he has pioneered the multispecies initiative and is currently acting as First Officer in a high stakes mission against the mysterious Sicarius organisation.

{{FBCWinner|Cadfael Peters|MONTH = August 2015
|PICTURE = Cpeters.png
|BLURB = Hailing from Shrewsbury, England, on Earth, Cadfael Peters isn't one for formal dress parties though he enjoys a good drink or two. Peters kept to himself at Starfleet Academy and hasn't shared much of his background with anyone since he's been in the fleet. He did get to know a future colleague Ayiana Sevo through the Cadet Cultural Exchange Subspace Friend program, but it wasn't until they were both assigned to the USS Victory that he met her.

Peters suffered ear trauma and hearing loss early on in his career, and he has since been treated with the EARS implant, a medical device analogous to the VISOR that restored his hearing. An engineer through and through, he worked his way up to the chief's position on the Victory before being assigned to the USS Darwin-A and his current posting aboard StarBase 118 Ops.

{{FBCWinner|Liani|MONTH = March 2015
|PICTURE = Liani.png
|BLURB = As her bio makes abundantly clear,  Liani h'Rhendria lyr'Theel'zhiin (or as her friends know her, {{n|Liani}} ) may be many things, but engineer, HCO, and tribble whisperer are not among them. Instead, this science officer of the {{USS|Apollo-A}} previously served as a medical officer aboard the USS Atlantis, working with fellow Andorian Dr. Shar'Wyn Foster. Proud of her accomplishment of having become a Starfleet officer, Liani's personal goal is to help save her subset of the Andorian species from extinction.

Always dressed with footwear of impeccable taste, Liani loves being around people and enjoys social games of chance and learning new musical styles and instruments in addition to her scientific and medical interests. She also enjoys cooking and experimenting with mixing different cultural culinary traditions (for science!). All in all, she's quite the motivated officer. Heaven help us if she gets her hands on the controls of that Defiant class she covets.
