* '''Quarters''': Sparse, his walls decorated with his achievements and a few photos of his parents. He keeps his ceremonial sword hanging above his bunk, to remind him of his duty when he wakes up and when he sleeps. He also keeps tropical fish in as big a tank as he is permitted, finding their movement almost hypnotic, and far more hypoallergenic then some horrible furry thing. Always kept at 32 degrees centigrade.

* '''Favorite Room''': Usually an Arboretum if one is available, space has too little color and life without one. Can also be found in the ships lounge/bar.

* '''Habits''': Tends to drum his fingers or toes when impatient, usually one of the few tells that he’s getting irritated.

* '''Mannerisms''': Like his movement, he doesn’t really express with his hands or body language as much as most other races. His posture is kept fairly neutral, generally he talks slowly, appreciating that some races may find him hard to understand. He has however taken advantage of the translator not recognising several Gorn expletives, useful for moments of utter frustration.

* '''Religion/Spiritual Devotion''': Agnostic. He believes an infinite universe means that anything is possible, he just wants to see it to believe it.

* '''Hobbies and Pastimes''': Enjoys sparring, training with both ranged and melee weaponry. Once he feels comfortably out of his shell, he can be found usually inhabiting the ships bar while off duty, people watching.

* '''Likes''': A good steak, cooking (Barbeque food is his specialty), competing in martial tournaments. He also enjoys spending time in the holodeck recreating large parks and woodlands, to alleviate the feeling of being cooped up on ship. Also his fish.

* '''Dislikes''': Anything with fur, from Dogs to Catians. He tends to suffer a mild allergic reaction around them. Also, facial hair creeps him out a little, something about mammals ability to randomly grow hair from places just seems wrong.

* '''Ambitions and Goals''': To do well in Starfleet, and by proxy help reopen a good dialogue between the Federation and the Gorn following the unfortunate conflict in recent years.

* '''Temperment''' On duty, he is professional to the extreme, rarely indulging in frivolous conversation. Off duty however he’s far more relaxed and open to banter. He doesn’t anger quickly, preferring to remain as calculating and objective as possible, but once his temper is invoked it’s extremely hard to bring it back under control. It takes a certain sort of rare annoyances to make a cold blooded fellows blood boil.

* '''Mental problems (complexes and phobias)''': He feels the constant need to do well for his family, the pressure of Gorn society always to live up to the family name. As a result of this, every action he takes is picked apart and over analysed afterwards, for his own peace of mind. He has a supportive, but very demanding father, who Tatash wants nothing more to bring honor to.

As a result of this, every action he takes is picked apart and over analysed afterwards, for his own peace of mind. He has a supportive but gravely ill father who he feels he has to 'take over' from after passing.

* '''Physical Limitations''': Speed, or a lack of. He can’t keep up with a decent athlete, preferring instead to rely on his massive strength to find solutions. He also does not have a great deal of dexterity. In Security situations, he’s the visible muscle while someone else would play the chaser.

Tatash has always been following a military career. While the Gorn are a civilised race, their culture still adheres to old traditions of being born into roles based on lineage. Raised as a solitary child due to his almost noble standing, he has strove to do well by his father and serve within the Gorns fearsome ground military forces (the GGF).

It is this constant pressure to bring pride to his family that caused him to sail upwards in the ranks, immediately by birthright inducted as an officer, deployed to Cestus III and moving up the ranks to Major, one of the key officers in charge of planetary security. It was here that he was introduced to the human colonists, and found that both Gorn and Human had managed to exist peacefully (after a brief conflict many years ago) and indeed build up a culture of mutual trust and friendship.

When the brief conflict between the Federation and Gorn exploded in the mid 2380’s, Tatash was thankfully not part of it. Indeed, he strove to ensure that Cestus III was left well alone, ensuring  (along with other officers) that the Colonists were treated as an independent faction rather than part of the Federation. This was agreed in earnest, to protect interests on both sides.
