They had an explosive first mission, with the murders of three seemingly unconnected individuals. The station was previously under the command of a number of CO's, including Admiral [[Rocar]], Captain Mal Avatar and Captain Tyr Waltas, who left the base with his primary crew aboard the [[USS Discovery-B]].
