[[Genkos Adea]] As young trainees at the Academy, Genkos and Ghant engaged in a whirlwind romance lasting a few short weeks. They later reconvened aboard the Gorkon. Genkos and Ghant decided to bury the hatchet after meeting with each other having both deciding to apologise, but the conversation was a little derailed after Ghant revealed that Genkos was his first love. Genkos decided to make a grand(ish) gesture as an apology to Ghant, and so arranged to have tea with the man. Ghant and Genkos rekindled their romance in a tearoom in London, albeit agreeing to take it slowly, and then almost immediately waking up together in Genkos' bed. They opened up to one another and their relationship blossomed. Ghant later opened up about the death of his cousin Choupette, and the custody battle for his niece Victoire. Despite Ghant's protestations to the contrary, Genkos spoke to the Admiral and told her about a secret communique behind Ghant's back, a move he came to regret when Ghant volunteered to tell the Admiral himself on the way to her wedding.
