Shortly after her mission to Freedom's Hope, ''Columbia'' was rotated to inactive status within the fleet. Solaris was then assigned to the ''U.S.S. Constitution'' on Stardate 239211.15, as an Intelligence Officer. On her first mission aboard the ''Constitution'', the ship was thrown back to the year [[1914_(Constitution)|1914]], just before the outbreak of World War I. Solaris was present, in orbit of Earth, as the first shots of the war were fired. Upon the ships return to the present, the ships crew was debriefed by Starfleet Intelligence, and cleared of any wrong doing. Solaris was awarded the Defense of Temporal Flow Ribbon for her actions in preserving the time line, and the Prometheus Ribbon for assisting in the cleanup of the Prometheus Incident.

Not content with being around for only one historical event, the ''Constitution'' picked up a distress call from the [[Unity_(Constitution)|''U.S.S. Unity'']], an Oberth-class science vessel that had been presumed lost for over a century. The ''Constitution'' was dispatched to the Betreka Nebula to ascertain the status of the vessel. Upon arrival in the Betreka Nebula, the Constitution discovered the long lost ''U.S.S. Unity'' adrift. The ship was long since deserted and a hostile entity occupied it. Solaris accompanied an away team to the ship, in an attempt to learn just what had happened to the Oberth-class vessel. Upon her return to the Constitution and the ships subsequent departure from the Nebula, Solaris was promoted to Lieutenant JG and given the position of Chief Intelligence Officer. She was also awarded with a Captain's Commendation Ribbon for her actions while aboard the ''Unity''.

After arriving at Starbase 11 after the discovery of ''Unity'', and a short period of shore leave, (spent in the company of her friend Sinda Essen), the ''Constitution'' was contacted by a Suliban woman, who requested the ships help with the investigation of a murder. The ''Constitution'' set out for the planet Lerayn and Solaris was tasked with helping prepare a threat assessment on possible suspects. Upon arrival at the planet 2 members of the crew, and the Suliban woman Akana were beamed off the ship to an unknown location on the planet below. Solaris accompanied Sinda Essen and Tad Cooper to find them and bring them back. Once they had been found, Akana attacked the two crewmen and Solaris attempted to disarm her before she could shoot Sinda. She was shot in the side during the ensuing scuffle. The crew soon discovered that Akana had been brainwashed to commit the murder herself, she and another Suliban were admitted to the psychiatric facilites at Starbase 11, and with no reason to hold them, the other Suliban were returned to their planet, to face their own societies justice system. The Constitution then returned to Starbase 11, for some well deserved shore leave.
