They tried to seek out nearby farmers and found some, known to Dar Elandra, who told them about the Blight. A plague that was killing their crops. Due to this tragedy and the paranoia generated by the Cardassian occupation, they refused help and were driven off their land. | ||

Before returning to the Alpha Quadrant, the USS Thor responds to a distress signal, greatly weakened. With the help of [[Wes Greaves]] and [[Katsim Peri]] they managed to know the origin and exact content of the distress message. | |||
Despite the indications that it could be a pre-warp culture, they decide to bring the ship closer. To reach the signal they must pass through a nebula that forms small subspace sigularities similar to force fields. Sirok modified the deflector and shields to create a sort of icebreaker to push the nebula's gases away and prevent the formation of the subspace fields. | |||
When crossing the nebula a prewarp ship trapped at the end of the nebula. Despite being a ship without warp capability its sensors were far superior for a pre-warp culture. (TBC) | |||
