During shore leave on Earth, Samira encountered Corliss on her way to a Haunting Castle Tour named the Ghostly Maiden. Even though it was in the Q-verse Samira was impressed by the way Corliss handled a hostile Cardassian, even if it was at the cost of one of her wigs.

The first time Samira met her fellow Assistant Chief Sec/Tac was at the Research Station on Giáng Sinh, having a drink together and both decided it would be best for now that he learned the ropes of both departments as a whole instead of splitting them up and each taking their part.

The smuggler as Fingers named him in the Q-verse, turned out to have quite the enterprising mind in the real world. When asking some help with Tasha MacFarlane to setup a biathlon track on Giáng Sinh, it didn't take long for the Chief of Ops to offer his help and those from his department. Including the recreation of the same scenario on the holodeck. Next to participating in the biathlon Jona also made the trophy for the winner.

Looking up some solitude, Samira was dragged back to the Research Station on Giáng Sinh by Jo to have a drink and bit of a talk. A conversation that didn't go well at first because Samira was doubting her place on board the ship, with the recent discovery that someone, without telling her department, had appointed a bodyguard to the Admiral. Yet a drink and a few quips from the First Officer later, Samira managed to have a bit of an informal chat with Jo.

Together with Lieutenant JGs [[Serren Tan]] and [[Tahna Meru]] Samira investigates the Vulcan escape pod that had brought a very confused and scared Denobulan Ensign onboard the Gorkon. In the cargo bay, something invisible attacked the group and even tossed them in the air. Something also caused them to have separate hallucinations. It was only with the help from the people on the bridge that they finally escaped in one piece.

After discovering the location of the USS Triumphant, teamed up with Lieutenant [[Corliss Fortune]] and Lieutenant JGs [[Serren Tan]] and [[Loxley]], they began their search for any survivors in the mess hall. As their search continued, only to find ominous writings in Sickbay, all of them, just like in the Gorkon’s cargo bay, experienced hallucinations of their worst fears. Once they moved to the shuttlebay, they discovered the presence of invisible creatures that fed off not only the energy of the ship’s resources but also living beings.

Once they moved to the transporter room, the team discovered a few of the Triumphant’s crew, including Captain [[Walter Brunsig]] hid in the transporter buffer.

With Brunsig’s help back in engineering, they managed to create a hole to the dimension of the creatures, unfortunately during a final attack of the creatures themselves, Samira and Loxley disappeared into the void themselves.

Luckily, with Corliss acting as a beacon, they quickly returned to the Triumphant together with all the other crew that had disappeared into the void.

Back on the Gorkon, Samira learned about the explosion on Deck Eight, that caused several fatal casualties. Her investigation about the cause of the blast, took an odd turn when Lieutenant JG [[Vorin]] accused Lieutenant [[Valesha Sienelis]], who had given birth to a baby girl shortly after the explosion, of being the instigator of the explosion.

During the awards ceremony, taking place for the second time on the outer hull of the Gorkon and where Samira was re-assigned to First Officer, a Rogue Planet appeared in the system.

With the Rogue Planet on a collision course to Palanon while causing havoc on the moons and station in the Tyrellian Sector, Samira together with Ensigns [[Asra]], [[Bryce Tagren-Quinn]] and Lieutenant [[Cory Stoyer]], were tasked to find out if the civilization they had detected traces off, was alive and kicking.

They hid the USS Kahnrah once they touched down on one of the floating islands, and dressed like the locals before venturing into the city they had detected. They were greeted by two locals going by the names of Janoch and Kjara. Somehow, in a way Samira did not understand, the two indigenous also spoke for their leaders. After some miscommunication, the locals asked them to fix the Wounded Wanderer’s veil and pointed them in the right, though somewhat confusing, direction, after teleporting Ensign [[Vylaa zh’Tisav]] , who had been with the team at the other side of the planet, in their midst.

With Asra, who was not feeling well, back on the shuttle, the team headed out. Discovering hidden paths, crossing a bridge made out of floating boulders, they reached another island with not only a city in ruins, even the reddish- looking flora was perishing. The chroniton particles they detected not only tossed them into another time bubble, where they saw the ruined city in all its former glory, they also affected Bryce. When his condition deteriorated, Samira made the tough decision to leave him behind.

After climbing a ruin to get a better view of their surroundings, they became the target of a Cardassian shuttle firing at them. It was only thanks to the swift action of Lieutenant JG [[Loxley]], they survived and found a way back down the building.

With the Cardassians on their tracks, they sought shelter in one of the buildings around a lake that stood out. Inside, they had to traverse a crosswalk over an immense gap, the bridge suddenly retreated when they stepped on it and brought them to the other side of the building where they encountered two frozen Cardassians and a Jem’Hadar and slithering vines. The only device in the area was a humming crystal pillar sabotaged by the Cardassians that had some connection to the vines.

Trying to fix or heal the vines, they descended the abyss and after a walk through a tunnel, the team found a control room with a machine that needing cooling according to Vylaa. Thanks to the ingenuity of the Andorian, they found the way to operate the machine, though it would mean the control room would flood. With Loxley and Cory climbing back out of the abyss, Vylaa and Samira remained behind to activate the machine. Swimming against the current, they barely made it back to the surface of the pit, helped by the vines who pushed them towards the edge.

They knew they ran out of time, when the normally blue colored clouds swirled above them, taking all the colors of the rainbow. Finally, they reached the shuttle and had to fight the turbulence, when the vessel brought them back to the Gorkon just in time before the Rogue Planet itself disappeared out of the system.

After her return from the Rogue Planet, Samira got used to her new duties, and simultaneously helped with the coordination of the help and rebuilding of the moons and station in the Tyrellian System.
