| '''Biography:''' Iel'ue and his brothers and sisters were hatched amongst his tribe in the Kilika Mountains near one of Aurelia's most famous observatories. Iel'ue took an interest in astronomy, stellar cartography, mathematics and physics early on, and applied for Starfleet Academy as soon as he was old enough, with the blessing of his tribal Elder. He majored in science and travelled on two tours of the Beta Quadrant before being assigned as Chief Science Officer on Starbase 104. His work has focused on research and development in transporter technologies and astrophysical phenomenon in the Lembatta Cluster, also teaching Starfleet Academy courses remotely from the starbase. He has a proud, scholarly personality and does not broker scientific negligence or stupidity. A fellow science officer once tried to call him "Lou," unwilling to learn how to pronounce Iel'ue's name with the proper inflection and intonations. He quickly found himself heading up a project analyzing fecal matter samples of every known species in the Quadrant. The chief science officer goes by Lieutenant or "Professor" professionally, Iel'ue only to his friends.
