Added to this was the fact that Dr. Ophiliant Baltazar III and his team saw many Klingon and Romulan devices. Including power generators, tools, fabrication devices and weapons. It would appear that the native species did indeed take everything after the mutual destruction of the Romulan and Klingon forces in 2171. What was unusual was the fact that the Federation science team observed many Rothians using these advanced devices properly. In fact many showed evidence of having been repaired as well. | |||

According to the Klingon records the bugs were a nuisance but not dangerous. However the good Dr. reports that they do now have a fairly well organized planetary defense force.
