+For as long as anyone has known him, Shayne has exhibited the classic signs of an anxiety disorder. As a result, he is generally introverted, quiet, and unobtrusive, especially when it comes to crowded or foreign environments. Panic attacks have struck him without warning in the past, but he rarely seeks out counseling. Guilt and bouts of depression are common symptoms as well. Despite these problems, he is committed to Starfleet and the Federation, seeking to help both anyway he can. Additionally, when lives are on the line, he is able to, at least temporarily, suppress his fear in regard of his duty.
