I had hoped that one of our missing colleagues would be able to use their communicator to respond in kind, but so far we haven't heard anything. |LOG=As Governor Blackhurst was preparing to give her speech, ''Veritas'' was attacked by Romulan and Cardassian ships. While this attack was underway, individuals who had been able to successfully bring aboard otherwise innocuous items constructed weapons. The facts of the situation indicate they were planning the onboard attack as both an attempt to rid the region of Starfleet interference, which they believed to be a threat to the stability of their world. Further evidence points to an attempt Governor Blackhurst's life because she supported Starfleet officers aiding the planet in it's distress. We were unable to apprehend the individual who claimed responsibility for the attacks on Antor II. He remains elusive and at large in the region. Only time will tell if we will eventually be able to track him down and put a stop to his acts of mass murder and terrorism. | |||
