Krindo lived in a typical small Minnesota town until he learned he was actually adopted as a baby. He was unaware of this until he joined Starfleet Academy when the medical intake exam revealed he was not their biological child. This revelation created a desire to seek out his biological parents which for some reason caused a falling out with his family, which is puzzling him to this day.

Krindo is usually upbeat and is not above a practical joke every now and then. On-duty, he will become business like unless the mood is lightened by an amusing comment as long as it doesn't interfere with the task at hand.

 

 

Off-duty, Krindo may be found in his quarters practicing the guitar, the style is what was called "rock-n-roll" in the 20th century, but can adapt to other styles. He is also into playing old computer game simulations adapted to the holodeck.
