Kaz was promoted to Lieutenant junior grade and re-assigned to a research outpost on a dying planet. The outpost was a mix of Starfleet and civilian personal. They lived in bio-domes as the temperature on the planet was too high during the day. At first she missed starship live but soon settled. She enjoyed studying the planets past both biological and civilization. But the research outpost grew to including mining operations and more civilian personal and soon Starfleet started to remove personal and after nearly 5 years there she found her self re-assigned to USS Thor. | |||
