{{Citation|Sheathed Sword|2398|USS-Constitution-B|Injury and trauma should never be added lightly to a story, but when written well they can provide compelling character development and insight, whether bringing out unexpected reactions, unrealised potential, or travelling the compelling journey of recovery. These injuries can be physical, mental or emotional. And sometimes they’re something harder to quantify. We all know how attached Commodore Rajel is to her ship, her beloved, Galaxy-Class Constitution-B which has truly become not just a house but a home to our crew. This last mission saw the ship damaged by Orion Pirates, to the point where, if she were a car, the insurer would probably write her off. But we all know that Mamma Jalana would never let that happen, if she has to yell at a few Admirals herself. Our ship is a part of her, and I can’t imagine how hard it was for Jalana to endorse the use of the severed nacelle as a bomb.
