	Jack graduated Starfleet Academy in 2399 with strong aptitudes in Diplomacy, Tactics and Engineering. He is an accomplished Tactics recruit but his ultimate passion or perceived passion is to have a starship command of his own. 	Jack was assigned to the USS Thor as Tactical officer right out of the academy and quickly found himself on a crew that he could learn from and grow with. Jack however found his first assignment in the Delta quadrant much more of a challenge ~~that~~ he was expecting when his ship and crew were ingested by a large space born creature. The experience has brought new realizations to the fact that anything can happen in Starfleet.
