Ian has two desk top computer systems, the one on the credenza is mostly for results of test and scans. The One on the main desk is used for everyday duties. Ian uses this screen to help schedule time in the labs and stellar cartography based on need of the science officer and task teamed up against the need of the ship. Ian prefers to manage the labs over having Operations manage them.
