Missions on USS Victory
Stardate 238706.18<br>
Upon being dispatched under the command of Lt. Commander Andrus Jaxx, the USS Victory was able to locate the USS Eagle and her crew.  A single shuttle carrying Rear Admiral Rocar Drawoh and Lt. Commander Cyrus Webb was brought aboard.  After a short briefing on the situation, Lt. Commander Jaxx transferred command to Rear Admiral Rocar Drawoh, and remained on board as the ships First Officer.  No sooner than they were brought aboard, the Victory received a distress call from a mining facility in the Epsilon Hydrae system.  After launching relief aide to the Eagle crew that was still on the surface, the Victory jumped into warp heading for the colony.
Stardate 238707.22<br>
After arriving at the station, living particles are discovered 'attacking' the station. With life support failing, and the inability to use the transporters because of temporal disruptions caused by the particle beings, Lt. Commander Andrus Jaxx leads an away team to the station aboard the aeroshuttle. Various timelines are discovered on the station, and members of the away team run into future versions of themselves and other crew members. Back on the Victory, a plan is enacted that will freeze the particle beings, which are traveling so fast that they have opened space-time fissures in and around the station. Freezing them allows the crew of the Victory to beam the survivors of the mining station and the away team home.
Stardate 238708.01<br>
The plan to freeze the particles was a success in that the station was able to be fully evacuated, but it has caused the particle beings to take aim at the Victory instead of the dying station. Thinking quickly, the bridge crew was able to fire quantum torpedoes in order to distract the beings towards another source of energy. The Victory then retreated to the edge of the system in order to evaluate the situation. Meanwhile, the few medical staff that were aboard the ship when she was pressed into service must now find a way to handle the hundred and fifty refugees from the station, most of whom are injured, sick, or dying.
Stardate 238708.25<br>
Finally having stabilized the situation and marked the area with a warning beacon for the science team Starfleet was sending to the location, the Victory turns towards home. Within hours, however, of reaching Starbase 118, Admiral Rocar is found missing. Blood and a knife at the scene were investigated, as well as a box found at the scene that was emitting the Admiral's life signs. The box later blows up, nearly killing the chief engineer. With Rocar gone, Lieutenant Commander Andrus Jaxx assumes command of the ship and Lieutenant Commander Cyrus Webb steps in as acting First Officer. The Victory pulls into port, where the crew enjoy a dinner set up by Ensign Cooper before reporting back to the ship to be redeployed.
Stardate 238709.05<br>
When a strange turn of events leaves the Victory's computer in chaos, the crew is recalled early from their already shortened shore leave. A full crew compliment is brought aboard, just in time to help with a total sensor overhaul which needs to be completed in less than 36 hours. Lt. MacKenna puts every available hand to work on the project, keeping everyone awake throughout the night. Finally finishing just over the deadline, she makes her way to the bridge to report. Meanwhile, a remotely controlled agent is found to be working aboard the Victory. Guided by waves of energy originating from an unknown source, the agent not only tries to kill at least one officer, but puts the entire ship in danger as well. The threat is neutralized before it can grow, but the remote transmissions continue. Ensign Tali, the chief engineer, finds a way to target the origin of the energy waves using the holoemitters from the EMH in sickbay. Without as many redundancies built in as other computer components and systems aboard, the EMH has suffered severe damage, causing it to act very uncharacteristically and even rude. When a torpedo is fired on the station, and a blast rocks the Victory, the crew must act fast to locate the source of the transmissions, as well as the agents still on the ship.
Stardate 238709.23<br>
At least one traitor is located aboard the Victory, but before he can be questioned, he ends up on the wrong side of the shuttle bay forcefield. Pieces of the mystery start to fall together as the crew tries to find the source of the halted energy waves, but before they can go any further, two major things happen. First, two ships appear out of nowhere and begin to attack the station. Second, Admiral Rocar is located in the executive tower of the station. The crew of the Victory is able to beam him away as the station's shields are brought down and a new defensive grid is put up to resist the attacks, however the Victory is made to escape the situation. While the starbase seemed to have known something about the creatures and their attack, the Victory is still in the dark and unable to effectively defend themselves. The Admiral's return is quickly diminished as he falls into unconsciousness shortly after arriving in the ready room. Sickbay is called, and Commander Jaxx, along with the help of Commander Webb, retains command for the moment. Jumping to warp and heading towards the Azure Nebula, the crew and ship prepare for what might prove to be a rocky future.
Stardate 238710.02<br>
The Victory heads into the Azure nebula as the crew attempts to find answers to their growing number of questions. More traitors are found on board as the crew struggles with internal sensor errors. The Chief Engineer is attacked, and ends up in sickbay next to the still unconscious Admiral Rocar. Though her wounds are easily healed, they bring up an important question; how was a phaser fired on the ship without triggering the warnings that would otherwise let the senior staff know about such a weapons discharge. As the Chief of Security begins her search for the answer, the science department begins searching for something to give them an edge against the creatures if the Victory should run into them again. With the help of Engineering, and some overly general information from the new Intel officer, Lieutenant Commander Webb, the crew begins to unravel the mystery of the insect aliens and the strange occurrences aboard the ship.
Stardate 238711.17<br>
Within the nebula, the Victory never encounters the insect creatures that attacked the Starbase, but they did run into a Romulan freighter with two Valdore class escorts. Though they tried to run silent and avoid confrontation, the Romulans detected a shuttle sent from the Victory to recover the freighter, which it was discovered, was transporting cloaking devices to the instectoids. The Victory's mission was to recover the devices at all costs to keep the insectoids from becoming nearly impossible to beat. The Romulans, however, would stop at nothing to make sure that their cargo was not taken. The ensuing firefight left one officer critically wounded, and another in a coma. While the ship limps back to the Starbase, Ensign Tressa fights to recover from physical wounds and possible brain damage, while the rest of the crew holds the ship together until they can make it back for repairs. Shore leave looms on the horizon, and the crew begins the break that they so much need.
Stardate 238711.15
The USS Aztec, a runabout modified for high-security prison transport, was scheduled to transfer two Romulan criminals to the USS Iowa. Unfortunately, engineers had reported that the Aztec was having difficulty achieving faster speeds than warp 2. A small crew from the USS Victory (which was under repair at SB118) was tasked with making repairs enroute.
Before repairs could be made, a malfunction in the mass compensator left the Aztec stranded in subspace with damaged life support systems. An emergency landing was made at a planet inside subspace for repairs, where the Aztec's crew encountered a large metallic life form, presumably a robot. This creature was surprised at the crew's biological origins, indicating that intelligent biological life on their planet had extinguished long ago. With the help of another similar creature, the Aztec was repaired and sent back into normal space.
Stardate 238712.13
Commander Andrus Jaxx gets new orders that send the USS Victory deep into Romulan space. Their destination is to be Romulus itself. With word that the Hobus star at the center of the Romulus solar system is unstable and heading towards supernova, the Victory and any other available Federations ships have been dispatched to help with the planetary evacuation of Romulus and the surrounding colonies. Because the Hobus star is so unstable, on top of a real scientific enigma, the new First Officer, Ash MacKenna has trouble trying to pinpoint just how much time they have before the planet is lost. The senior staff get to work on contingency plans, as well as plans that will allow the maximum amount of refugees to be beamed aboard the ship.
Meanwhile, the ship prepares to host their own version of the officer's ball aboard the ship, since they would be missing the official one on the Starbase. It is a bittersweet addition to the mission they will soon find themselves entrenched in.
Stardate 238712.31
While the officer's ball was a success, word is received that the Hobus star had gone supernova and Romulus was lost. Commander Andrus Jaxx confers with the First Officer and they agree to keep the information to themselves until the morning, when a briefing has been called. No time is wasted in reassigning the Victory, which had already crossed the border of Romulan space. The Captain broke the news to the senior staff and then redirected their energy towards their new goal.
With the Romulan Senate presumed dead, various sects of Romulan society begin to exert independence and the claim that they are the rightful leaders of what is left of their people. The Star Empire falls, segmenting into various smaller areas of controlled space. The Federation is contacted by a Federation friendly member of the Romulan senate, Senator Kaitak, who has been taken to a remote planet set up to provide safety in such circumstances. Thus, the Victory is dispatched to rescue the senator, who is also being pursued by remnants of the Tal Shiar.
Stardate 238801.21
An away team led by Lieutenant Commander Ash MacKenna is sent to the surface to find the senator. Because the atmosphere is hazardous, being comprised of gasses and metallic particles, the team cannot transport down. Instead, they start towards their destination on a shuttle. After a really bumpy ride, Ensign Liam Frost manages to make a controlled crash landing close to their desired landing point. Gearing up, the team heads out towards their objective.
After their first communication with the ship, Chief Petty Officer Radi Rais is sent out on another shuttle to locate and pick up the team once they had located the senator. Conditions in the atmosphere worsen, and though the shuttle avoids the problems that had plagued the first one, they were unable to locate the team at first.
Meanwhile, the away team entered the edge of the city and was met with a rather friendly holographic security guard. Moments later, lights of a transporter beam appear close by. The Senator and his aide appear just moments before a very angry Tal Shiar agent. The shuttle locates the crew as they realize who the Senator is and move to protect him. Speeding closer, the Tal Shiar agent begins firing at the group as they fold into the open shuttle door. Things become chaotic and shots are fired from both sides. As the final officers stepped up into the shuttle, one lucky shot found home.
Stardate 238802.28
With the Senator in tow, the shuttle returns to the Victory, but not without its share of problems. Shock takes hold of certain officers as the realization that May was dead seemed to hit home. As soon as they were in range, Lieutenant Commander Ash MacKenna beams the doctor, nurse, Senator, and Security Chief to sickbay. The remaining officers bring the shuttle into the bay and return to the bridge to find that a decloaked warbird was seemingly seconds away from causing problems. Using some daring moves, the Victory is able to slingshot around the planet and into warp without any shots being fired.
Enroute to the Starbase, the Victory crew begins to deal with the ghosts that would haunt them. Meanwhile, the ship gets word that Betazed was under attack and that one of their crewmen's family's had been killed.

With plenty of upgrades to brag about, the USS Victory is about to set out towards their next mission. Unbeknownst to most of the crew, Captain Jaxx has been offered, and has accepted, command of the station Starbase 118. The Victory is to make her best speed to the new assignment, where she will be docked and kept as a support vessel.
As the ship begins to move away from Earth spacedock, however, the ship encounters a rift in space and time. There is a bright flash, and suddenly the crew sees that they are on a collision course with a small object. Seconds later the object is identified, but only after the occupants are beamed over to the Victory following a collision that destroyed the vessel. The craft that was destroyed was the Apollo 11 command service module on it's way to make history on the moon in the Earth year 1969.
The realization that the ship now contains three living and breathing members of Earth history begins to settle in and the crew scrambles for a way to make a replacement craft so the astronauts can continue on with the mission that changed spaceflight forever on the human world...
Stardate: 238805.12
Two away teams are sent to the surface of 1969 Earth. The first team is tasked with retrieving the blueprints and plans for the actual craft, that would fill in the gaps that existed in historical documents existing in the Victory's computers, from a remote file location on Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Lt. Commander Kalianna Nicholotti, Lieutenant Guy Hunt, and Lieutenant Commander Julio Vannini make their way into the base disguised as Naval Officers of the time. They are successful in their task, but Lieutenant Hunt suffers a gunshot wound as the team escaped.
The second team was tasked with retrieving the manifest for everything that was included on the craft when it left Earth. Since each thing would have to be replicated, they needed a list. Lieutenant Commander Ash MacKenna, Lieutenant Eliaan Deron, and Lieutenant Liam Frost make their way to a bar known for its astronaut clientele. After making contact with the head of the astronaut office, they find they are able to get what was needed.
In the meantime, Ash is left alone with a shady man of the time, and finds herself eating candy that he gives her. The candy, a form of LSD, sends Ash on a drugged trip where she has trouble focusing and completing simple tasks. Frost returns to the ship with her while Dr. Deron continues in search of the manifest, which he finds a short time later after following the instructions of Deke Slayton. He returns to find sickbay full, and chaos mounting.

With the craft built, the crew sets the three astronauts out into space just before a Q appears on the bridge. Splitting into multiple entities, the Q tries to tempt each officer on the bridge with something that they might really like. Some officers are taken to other places to get their offer, while others remain on the bridge. All decline the offers, and the Q suddenly poofs them and their ship in front of their destination, Starbase 118. Everything appears as it should have been in history and the crew wonders if they really did 'run into' the three historical figures from the past. Shocked, but okay, the crew puts the events behind them and begins the transition to their new home
Missions on SB118 Ops
--Stardate: 238807.10--
With barely time to unpack the new crew of Starbase 118, under the command of Captain Andrus Jaxx, started their new assignment with a bang! Carefully planned terrorist attacks rocked the station, knocking out virtually all of critical systems and their backups.
Stranded throughout the station and without functioning transporters or turbolifts, the crew must negotiate the damage of their new home, terrified civilians, Bajoran terrorists and injured comrades in order to make it back to the hub in order to respond to this unexpected and unprovoked attack.
Through hard work and sheer determination, the station's engineering staff eventually restored main power, while the medical staff transfer to the docked mercy-ship, the USS Braveheart, in order to treat the casualties. As things are starting to look up, the crew are again rocked by the death of one of their own, Second Officer Lieutenant Commander Guy Perry Hunt.
--Stardate: 238808.14--
Though all space traffic has been halted, a lone freighter approached the Starbase and refused to respond to any hails asking them to halt. On what looked like a collision course, the freighter began cycling through docking procedures and the crew suddenly realized that the terrorists had someone smart on the inside. With access to all but the most secure systems compromised, the crew faced a terrifying reality; hostile takeover or worse.
Meanwhile, the Scarlet Brotherhood's plan has failed, unbeknownst to the crew of SB118 or the terrorists, long before it ever came together on the station. Far away from Starbase 118, the ultimate weapon, which was being transported to the station following the initial bombs, was stopped by the crew of the USS Challenger. Reports don't reach the officers aboard the station, however, for a while longer.
With the freighter on a collision course, Lt. Commander Kevin Breeman must work fast to devise a virus that would prevent the ultimate goal of the terrorists from being attained. However, his strong sense of morals prevent him from simply killing them, so instead, the virus simply robs the ship from power so that Starfleet personnel can beam over to secure the ship. The terrorists, however, were not keen on that plan.
--Stardate: 238808.25--
Shortly following the disabling act, the senior staff board the USS Victory in order to tractor the freighter away from the station. Because it is full of explosives of various types, it still poses a real threat to the station in its close proximity. It didn't take long for the Victory to leave the barely powered doors of the spacedock, making her way around the station to the location of the freighter. When the ship came into view, the crew got a glimpse of something they didn't expect. The bajoran freighter was attacking the fighters that had taken up a defensive stance around it.
Joining in the fray, the Victory tried to protect the fighters. The move was a success, and things seemed to be calming down until a new threat came in; the freighter was overloading their warp core intentionally. Facing a huge explosion, the Victory immediately tractored the ship with just enough time to move it safely away from the station. Again, the Victory succeeded, but barely and not without a cost. What was only moments before a beautiful starship, had now become a burned and broken mess that had to limp back to spacedock.
--Stardate: 238808.31--
Damaged during the firefight with the suicidal terrorist freighter above Starbase 118, the USS Victory has limped home for repairs in drydock. With the majority of the terrorists now awaiting judiciary hearings, the operations crew of Starbase 118 is taking a much deserved rest.
However, the crew still faces obstacles beyond simple repairs and re-staffing: Tensions along the border with the crumbling Romulan Empire have come to a head as the cunning Romulan Admiral Roldis hovers just beyond the neutral zone, hungrily eyeing the damaged Federation Station and the sector she protects.
A Chief Medical Officer from a Civillian Freighter has arrived, facing trial for illegal experimentation on the crew in her care, adding stress to an already over-worked JAG. While the Marine Corps works with Starfleet Engineers to create a new, more robust starfleet fighter design.
Junior and Senior officers alike struggle to incorporate the dangers of serving in Starfleet, as the emotional fallout from the loss of Lieutenant Commander Hunt still hangs heavily over the crew’s morale. Despite these troubles, the crew is carrying on.
Headway has been made in returning station life to normal. Shops are again opening, schools are returning to session, and the station’s civilian population has not given into one of fear and retaliation, leaving Starbase 118 once again a shining example of the Federation’s spirit.
--Stardate: 238810.01--
A Romulan Science vessel discovers a Pergium deposits on Thracia 2, a small planet near the Klingon border.  Due to location of the planet, the Klingons are keen to also benefit from the discovery.  The planet is inhabited by a pre-warp proto-Vulcan race whose society would be wiped out if the proposed strip mining is undertaken and the Federation are very concerned about this.
In accordance with its purpose, Starbase 118 plans negotiations that would save the race and keep peace along the border, but a new contender is soon to rise...
--Stardate: 238810.28--
The USS Victory is dispatched to the planet in order to protect it from the two sides squabbling over the rare material found there. Both the Klingons and the Romulans have sent ships to watch over the other; a situation that could quickly become the first battle in a new war. Though they know little more than the fact that they are walking into a ticking time bomb, the crew soon arrives at the planet to a void of empty space.
Meanwhile, delegates from the Klingon empire and the Romulan ruling powers, as well as a Ferengi ambassador, arrive at the station and begin to prepare themselves for the coming talks. In the shadows, yet undeclared, a new alliance is acquiring the weapons and ships that they will need to enact their master plan.
--Stardate: 238811.23--
The USS Victory might have seen nothing upon entrance to the system, but that didn't mean there wasn't anything there. One by one, for various reasons, ships begin decloaking all around them. At the same time, a strange beam of energy, coming from one of the now present Klingon vessels, is seemingly randomly bringing down the shields of both the Victory and one of the Romulan ships. With the Klingon General shooting in all directions, hell bent on forcing any other Romulan ships in the vicinity to decloak as well, the Romulan commander shows her hand and threatens to attack.
Tensions spike as the Klingon General moves his fleet towards the Romulan fleet. Desperate for a way to keep the peace for a short while longer, Lt. Commander Nicholotti orders the Victory into the center of the battlefield between the two aggressors. With the only thing keeping the two sides at bay being the chance of shooting a Federation vessel, the crew struggles to not only keep all weapons sheathed, but to stay alive.
Aboard Starbase 118, a new delegate seeks out Captain Jaxx to declare a new alliance of planets in the Thracian system. With this new information, Jaxx enters the gridlocked talks intent on finding a peaceful resolution for all, including the newcomers.
--Stardate: 238812.01--
With tensions running high, the Romulan Commander Creena contacts the USS Victory to reveal the new Thracian Alliance to Lt. Commander Kalianna Nicholotti shortly after the same had been revealed, unbeknownst to the crew of the Victory, on Starbase 118. Confirmed by a report received moments later from Captain Jaxx, the information changed the approach that the crew of the Victory had to take in the situation.
Meanwhile, an underhanded plot by a rogue Klingon 'diplomat' is discovered when the real ambassador to the talks wakes from a drugged state to find someone in his place. Putting the pieces together, the Klingon ambassador Ja'Dar finds that a fleet of ships had been sent with instructions to instigate a war with the Romulan Empire at the planet in question. With moments to spare, the ambassador contacts the fleet and warns them to return home or face dishonor.
With the unveiling of the Alliance to the ambassadorial representatives on the Station, a resolution is quick to come. After uncovering the plot to start war, both the Klingons and the Romulans agree to leave the planet in the hands of the Thracian Alliance, whom has been found to be doing business with the Ferengi and have acquired Ferengi ships to back up their cause. Upon their arrival in the Thracian system, all but one of the Klingon ships turned and left for home. Now, both the Thracian fleet and the crew of the Victory wait to see just what the desperate-for-an-honorable-death Klingon General will do.
--Stardate: 238812.07--
After a tense few moments, General Ma'tag and his ship, the Luk'la fade into history as they cloak and turn away from the planet. He knows that he's losing the chance to die honorably in battle, but being unwilling to be the catalyst of a whole war, he sees no other choice.
--Stardate: 238901.08--
The senior staff enjoys a night away from the worries involved in running a huge station like Starbase 118. With the awards for the year handed out, the late night hours are danced away in The Retreat. No one has any idea that the coming days would bring anything more than a very welcome getaway on a planet that has something for everyone.
*Three resorts were created around the globe, in different climates. Visitors only had access to the resort grounds, as the rest of the planet was reserved for the privacy of the Echevar citizens. The tower boasted the finest of the three resorts, both in amenities and climate. The waters were bright blue, and very warm. Sonic barriers kept all sea creatures outside the habitat zone, providing safety from the planets sea life. The other two resorts were not as rich in warmth. Echevar Hills Tower had beautiful views of the canyons, and with it came cooler winds. It was a beautiful place for hiking and outdoor activities. They realized that some species enjoyed hunting various creatures. As a means of population control, older wild animals were transported to the hunting zones to serve as prey. It helped to balance their eco system, as well as turn a profit. The final resort, Echevar Peak Tower, was in the mountains, covered in snow. The unique atmosphere and elements of the planet caused it to produce light blue snow. It was much different from the white snow on Earth, but only in color. All visitors had access to all three resorts, and could transport to carry out various activities.
Things aren't always as they seem, though, and when the body of a Starfleet officer washes up on the beach at one of the resorts, the Crew finds themselves back on duty as they try to uncover the mystery and find out just what kind of danger they have put themselves in.
Missions on USS Mercury
*SD 238908: New Alliances
Following the conclusion of their mission to explore and stabilize the derelict station, the Mercury stayed on station for the arrival of SCE reps and equipment for the revitalization of the station, and her crew was the first to hear of Starfleet’s intent to make it a deep space station. The crew enjoyed a short leave before being recalled prematurely when Commander Kells received unusual orders to head to Cardassia Prime to retrieve Prianna, a member of the Detapa Council, and her staff, and then to ferry them to Romulan space to give aid to those colonies that had been attacked by Klingons. The crew went above and beyond in preparing for the councilor’s arrival and, once she was aboard, kept her and her staff comfortable and entertained during the trip to Betazed to rendezvous with the USS Apollo.
