Washington also informs Jansen that Starfleet Science theorizes that the planet travels through subspace. Commander Orrey tells Acting First Officer [[Wil Ukinix]] that shore leave is "over", and requires him in Engineering to ensure the ship can keep up with the planet. | |||
The Operations Officer, Lieutenant Commander [[Lia Rouiancet]], assembles a team of [[Dassa Alexander-Dalton]], [[Timothy Alentonis]], [[Raissa Moonsong]], [[G'var]] and [[Groznin Smith]] in the ship's library to review the information on Hecate provided from Starfleet Science. The group eventually heads to Astrometrics to scan the planet. In the process, they discover that the planet has liquid lakes along the equator, and life forms comprised of approximately 13 percent diamond.
