Originally commissioned in 2320, Deep Space 224 is a starbase located in the [[The Borderlands]] close to [[Klingon]] space, and nearby to a neutron star by the name of Klatax. The station was all most mothballed and on a closer list for several decades until the [[ma:Dominion War|Dominion War]].
