Daylen was born to Nhila & Kalib Daroo in the small province Bilanh neighbouring the province of Tujion. Her father had been a freighter pilot before Daylan was born transporting Felecium from Brekka to Ornara. Not long after her 6th birthday, Daylans father decided to take up the life of a freighter pilot once more, doing odd transport jobs for the highest paying client in the Alpha Quadrant. Not wanting to leave his wife and children behind he took them with him. | ||
Daylan informative years were anything but stable. Not having a solid home moving from system to system it was hard for her to form friendships that lasted. Thus, for this reason, she had a close relationship with her brother Shelak. | |||
At times on more dangerous runs, Daylan's father would leave her mother, brother and herself at various Starbases including DS9 for there own safety, these could last for weeks on end sometimes months. | |||
The Nomadic lifestyle made it hard for Daylan to form attachments as she knew it wouldn’t be long before they would have to leave again. During there stays at various Starbases Daylan grew fascinated with the Starfleet officers she encountered along her way growing up. | |||
