+Daro has never enjoyed conflict. He tries to make peace with others whenever possible. He is shy around new people, but it very outgoing with and fiercely loyal to those he considers friends. He enjoys spending time with those he is close to, but has very few of those people in his life. He began using the gym as a way to drag himself out of too many cerebral pursuits, but has come to enjoy the time spent there. It’s semi-social without being high-pressure which he can better handle. His favorite athletic pursuits have been less team oriented, though. He enjoys running and rock climbing the most.
 ===Ambitions and Goals===
+Daro hopes to help discover a new culture. He knows that as introverted as he is that first contact is probably not his strength, but being a part of that team is a huge goal for him. To that end, he has started pushing himself to grow more comfortable socially. He wouldn’t mind being promoted and moving up the ranks as that would be recognition of a job well done, but he is also anxious about that possibility as it tends to mean responsibility for managing others. He would love to be the kind of person who makes friends easily, but realizes his own limitations. He’s decided to set more realistic goals there in the form of finding a few friends on his new ship. He would enjoy it if one of those friendships developed into more, but he knows that will be an uphill climb for him.
 ===Personal Achievements and Disappointments===
 Dissapointments:
+Daro has always felt like something of an outsider. He knows that his family loves him, but they do not understand him, and he fears that he is something of a disappointment to them as he is fairly abnormal for a Rodulan. That, in turn, disappoints him. Professionally, he really hasn’t had that many disappointments. A poor test score, a paper his professor didn’t agree with, etc., but nothing major. Beyond that, Daro regrets the opportunities he has missed interpersonally more than anything else.
 Achievements:
+Defending his dissertation and receiving his Doctorate. That was a real high point for him. It showed him that all the odd views of the world around him which he’d always thought were wrong, were actually very right. Being surrounded by others with such similar interests and views of the universe did a world of good to his self-confidence…though it is sometimes hard to tell. Joining Starfleet after that was another milestone for him. It finally set him on his own path, one independent from any he’d been on before.
