Darius Clack was found wondering the deserted outback of Australia at the age of six. Living in destroyed ruins of a local village, Darius was forced to steal food to survive. It was at a time of a local civil uprising due to remnants of the Eugenics War. Many people were killed as a group of resurrected 'superman' following the teachings of Khan Noonien Singh tried to seize power. It became known as '''Bleeding Sun''' for the locals. It is assumed that this was the fate of his parents. He was given the name X by the leader (Lt Lewis) of a Vigilante group that had splintered off from Federation forces in order to deal with the Raider O'Keef (follower of Khan) and his rebels. Until age sixteen, Darius became a high ranking officer with the Vigilantes as he helped fight for their cause. In the beginning, he was able to take advantage of his childlike appearance to acquire intel by physically walking into rebel controlled compounds unnoticed. As he got older, Darius began planning actual military campaigns.
