|CONDITION= Autism/Sensory Processing Disorder

|COUNSELORNOTES=Patient arrived on medical leave from the USS Montreal. Upon receiving patients medical record and giving sufficient time for memory recovery an assessment of autism diagnostic qualifications was given. Patient was diagnosed with a mild version of autism with a sub diagnosis of sensory processing disorder as most of the documented issues stemmed from that. It is to be noted that the patient has a hard time processing new information or understanding what to do when not given clear instructions. When such things occur a meltdown or sensory overload might happen. During this time it is best to talk calmly and allow patient to stim or self soothe. 

|MEDICALNOTES = No medication prescribed  

|COUNSELORNOTES= Patient notes feeling anxious due to not wanting to lose control of the symbiont and/or memory again. When patient feels anxious they tend to looks around as if they don't know what to do. May start asking for their weighted blanket. It is best to intervene before anxiety becomes a meltdown or sensory overload.     

|MEDICALNOTES = Short term medication given for when patient feels anxious. Slight shaking does occur.
