Her personal quarters are well kept except for the desk that is usually littered with books and maps. A small bookshelf sits calmly above the desk holding language books, pagan texts, tactical maps, psychology books,sociology books, tactical hand books, and a red and gold diary held closed with a red bow.

Her favorite room is her quarters; because this is where she can be alone to reflect in peace.

Aurora was born in San Francisco, CA, USA on Earth and raised in New York City, NY, USA on Earth to a wealthy family; she is the only daughter of deceased Starfleet Captain Elena Rose James and wealthy casino owner, Todd Mark James. Her mother died giving birth to her, and her father sent her to only the best private schools in the Upper East Side of New York City. She showed great promise in linguistics as a kid and graduated high school at the top of her class as Valedictorian a year early, speaking eight distinct native Earth languages fluently. In addition to her love of languages she was quite the sponge when it came to absorbing new information. She attended New York University with a double major in Psychology and Sociology gaining both her B.S degrees. She then went on to grad school program that resulted in her gaining both a P.h.D. and an M.D. It was revealed during her freshman year Psychology class that she had a photographic memory, capable of allowing her to fly right through any book, test, and assignment she was ever given and allowed her to graduate and be at the top of her class as Valedictorian. After her stunning graduation speech and her small family reunion with her father, she was hit hard by the reality of the fact that her father was an unhappy and dying man as he was just diagnosed with lung cancer and he had every intention to kill himself after selling everything and leaving her with his vast fortune. Despite this, she left for Starfleet command as planned with her father’s blessing.

With hope in her eyes, Aurora cleared the terms of her reprimand and had served once again as the Counselor on the USS-Thunder A and Duronus II Embassy. Aurora boarded the USS Victory for a joint mission with her girlfriend Irina Pavlova. As the mission began underway, a last moment transfer order transferred both women to the USS Excalibur A. Aurora proposed to Irina who accepted, and now Aurora is serving as a Medical Officer on a classified ship, in a classified location. For the duration of Aurora's classified mission, Jazmine was sent to boarding school on Earth.
