His father Francesco Ferrucci is a biotechnologies researcher at "Centro unito Italiano di ricerca biomedica" (Italian United Center for Biomedical Research, or IUBR), and his mother Caterina Fabbri is a pianist and expert on Xenomusicology. His younger sister is studying to become an Engineer at Starfleet Academy. Alessandro was born in a rather pacific family environment, with both his parents encouraging him in pursuing his interests and in a highly historical city of Italy.
