Due to the engrammatic process, Theron has had no formal education per se. What he does possess is the accumulated experience of the 4 Theron lines that contributed to the memory engrams, up until their deaths at least. While htis is somewhat disorienting when he tries to draw a personal "memory," he has great technical ability and familiarity with a wide variety of systems and repair techniques, as well as the entirety of the Starfleet Officers Handbook, circa 2158 (approximately 180 years out of date).
