 Ren is talented academically having graduated early in Neuroscience with Artifical Intelligence and showing academic excellence in this area. This helped her to be given Quartz by passing the Trill Symbiosis Commission. She found the selection difficult and tends to be wary of medical examinations since this encounter. She then went to the Academy and studied Applied Mathematics.
